Here’s what our governing professional association has to say about a lawyer’s personal commitment to his or her clients:

A lawyer should represent a client zealously within the bounds of the law.
-American Bar Association Model Code of Professional Responsibility

Your lawyer is the bridge between you and the intricate system of justice on which our country relies. It is your lawyer’s job to represent you in the most effective manner possible and to understand every aspect of the law that governs your particular area.

A Colorado Attorney Who Goes The Extra Mile For His Clients

James Hopkins represents his clients’ best interests zealously. Sometimes this means settling cases out of court, through mediation. Other times it means staging the strongest possible case in court so that a judge or jury views your case favorably. Either way, it is this personal attention—and exacting attention to detail—that defines the practice. This is what has made James Hopkins a distinguished Colorado attorney.

The Client/Lawyer Relationship

Establishing an honest and professional relationship with his clients is James Hopkins’ first step towards building a successful case. Especially in defense law, the open relationship between counsel and defendant is paramount to building the best possible defense. When a client shares frankly and honestly the experiences that have lead to the case, it enables Mr. Hopkins to use his insight into legal strategies and his deep experience of specific cases to prepare the best possible tactics for the case. It’s this team relationship that produces the best results for Hopkins Law LLC clients.

Following college, Laurie worked a variety of jobs, including at a local utility and at a veterinary clinic.
She was accepted into the College of Law at the University of Southern California.
